A good minimal bedroom uses no more than two or three tones. Most of the walls are soft, muted light colours like beige, cream or warm grey, and the headboard wall becomes the focal point through texture rather than more decoration. The minimal bedroom colour formula: three tones is enough
The first tone is the main walls: choose a muted light colour like Oatmeal, Linen or Ivory. The second is the headboard wall, one or two steps darker, or textured instead of darker. The third is the bedding and curtains, chosen from the same family as the walls.
If you like the warmth of a resort hotel, use Sand Dust with Coconut Sugar. If you like a cool, calm feel, use Soft Gray with a grey Mineral Finish shade such as Quiet Luxury.
